When you sponsor an art award you are invited to the prize giving and meet the artists and give them a prize.
When you sponsor an art award you support an important event in the Kapiti arts calendar and encourage our local artists’ self-belief, confidence, and commitment to their work.

Participation by local artists in this event has been a stepping stone for some to national prominence.

This show also gives Kapiti people the chance to see local and national art.

Sponsors

Sponsorship is a way for local businesses to support local artistic endeavor and to help expand the Kapiti Coast’s reputation as an artistic centre.

Proceeds from the event are used to support and expand the facilities for the appreciation and advancement of fine arts within the Kapiti Coast region.

Categories of Sponsorship

There are three categories of Sponsorship.
Gold ($5,000), Silver ($500) and Bronze ($150).

Which sponsorship is right for you and your business?

The Gold Sponsor
The Gold sponsor provides funding or services to the value of $5,000.  We are pleased to again welcome Newstalk ZB as our 2019 sponsor.

The Gold sponsor is offered naming rights for the Exhibition and Competition in addition to the privileges listed below.   The Gold Sponsor will be provided with extra complimentary tickets to the Preview Evening, and the opportunity to present the Overall Winner prize at that event.

Silver sponsors
Silver sponsorships of $500 are offered to local businesses for the competition, these funds being used for prizes and towards overall marketing costs.  Prizes are awarded in the Competition with a Best in Show, Runner up, four Highly Commended and twelve Merit prizes awarded by the judges, plus the People’s Choice voted on by attendees at the show.  All Silver sponsors will be introduced at the Prizegiving and will have the opportunity to present a prize to a winner present on the night.
Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors receive
  • two complimentary tickets to the Preview evening

and are acknowledged

  • on our Art Show website and Facebook page.
  • in paid advertisements in the local media.
  • on a Sponsor Board in display at the venue for the duration of the event.
Bronze sponsorships
Bronze prize sponsorships of $150 cash are an easy way for a small businesses or individuals to contribute, knowing their funds are going to support local artists and the art show.

Bronze sponsors are recognised at the show and on the website and receive one complimentary ticket to the Preview evening.

Send in your advertising material
All sponsors who wish to be acknowledged in any advertising and/or on the website must provide a print-ready logo at least 4 weeks before the event.
